Jagan Says No Need To change

It seems Jagan still believes that no need of change in his attitude. YSRCP has conducted 3 days review meeting in Rajahmundry for the defeat in general elations. Party has failed to cover all districts in its review meeting and decided to postpone the postmortem analysis later in left over segments. Vizag is also one among them. On overall there is one common opinion hears among the cadre that all this review meetings are useless.

Review meetings need not help to rejuvenate the party cadre. YSRCP cadre is clueless on in conducting review meetings. But one thing is sure that cadre of all districts lashed out YS Jagan and Sakhi media before Jagan himself. Jagan is not allowed detailed discussion on defeat just he used to listen on cadre opinions.

After that Jagan talked to media that there is no need to change in YSRCP and himself. It is surprising to the leaders on Jagan statement to defend that party graph increased since its formation. Cadre has left out with all dejected mood. YSRCP leaders made comment internally that party is like “White Elephant”. Some of them believed to wait for two more years for the change in Jagan afterwards would take decision on their future.

Uttar Pradesh In Line For Next bifarication

With 80 loksabha seats, 408 assembly seats, 75 districts and 22 crore population, Uttar pradesh is one of the biggest state in India. High illiteracy rates, major population being below poverty line and with no significant industrial development with respect to population are leading to higher crime rates. Being also the 4th largest in area, administration and services are not reaching the last mile. Extortions, kidnapping, murders and rapes are becoming common phenomenon. As per the central and earlier state government, division of the state is considered as one of the solution.

BSP government earlier proposed to carve out four states out of UP, which even UPA-2 government agreed but could not be cleared. States proposed are Paschim Pradesh with capital gaziabad or meerut , Awadh Pradesh with capital Lucknow, Bundelkhand and Poorvancal. Now with more crimes against woman coming in to light and poor Law & Order situtation, NDA government is also contemplating the carving of new states. Having said that, it may be very difficult for the central government to convince the state government as they don’t want state division during their term. With three more years to next assembly election and five more years in power for BJP, this division is certainly possible. BJP, however wants to divide UP in to three states not only to reduce the number of states but also increase their electoral benefits by reducing percentage of Muslim votes to as less as possible in each state. BJP has always been ardent supporter of smaller states and accessible and effective administration. NDA government also plans to give special status to Bundelkhand and Poorvanchal and extend their supportive hand. Not to forget BJP successfully carved out chattisgarh, Uttrakhand and Jharkhand states earlier which yielded better results.

About joining politics, NTR said, “I am not interested in politics. My prime focus is on films. Thank you.”

NTR is staying away from the party since 2009. All these years, he began drifting away from the party and its cadre for various reasons. He even did not campaign for the party in 2014. Also, Harikrishna didn't get the party's ticket to contest in the polls which widened the ego between Harikrishna and Nara families. But TDP’s victory forced Hari Krishna and Junior NTR to return to TDP’s fold.

Nevertheless, after the victory of TDP in the elections, Harikrishna called on Naidu with his sons and congratulated him.

As NTR will be  highly observed by media today  whatever he speaks or whatever he does at the event will come under media’s extreme radar. We will have to see how he carries himself today. Even necessity change the Jr.NTR also.

KCR Had Taken One More Reverse Step On T-Deamands

Telangana CM  K. Chandrasekhar Rao and a delegation of 11 MPs met the PM narendra Modi in New Delhi.Their meeting lasted for 45 minutes where in KCR submitted 14 separate memorandums to the Prime Minister giving details of specific needs of Telangana which are later briefed to media by TRS MP Jithender Reddy.

The demands list of KCR included the following:

1. Special Category Status for Telangana State

2. Declaration of Pranahita-Chevella Dam as national project

3. Tax incentives

4. 4,000 MW power project

5. Separate High Court for the new State

6. Development of Hyderabad urban agglomeration as a slum-free city

7. Consservation of Musi River on the lines of Sabarmati River of Gujarat

8. Establishment of Horticulture and Tribal universities

9. Development of roads and upgradation of some roads as National Highways

10. Setting up of steel plant in Bayyaram of Khammam

11. Allotting new railway projects

12. Conservation of forest land in Telangana.

Surprisingly KCR didnot put any demand at Modi about polavaram ordinence. KCR is eager to get special category status for Telangana, on par with AP, because the neighbouring state has already been promised special incentives by the Centre during the division of united AP. So KCR seems to be worried that industrialists in Telangana will be wooed away to AP by Naidu with his offer of incentives. Hence, KCR wants special category status for Telangana on par with AP to retain industrialists and businessmen.

AP CM Likely To Wave Loans In Phases

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister-designate N. Chandrababu Naidu who is firm on waiver of farm loans wants to implement it in a phased manner.
Although Mr Naidu will sign on the farm loan waiver file first, the total waiver of farm loans will take time since permission from the Reserve Bank of India is needed. Mr Naidu opines that if in the first phase crop loans are waived, farmers will get fresh loans from the banks to continue their agriculture activities.
Officials say, for waiver of crop loans around Rs 30,000 crore will  be required. The finance department has already sent the details of farm loans to the Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao. For total waiver of agriculture loans including gold loans around Rs 80,000 crore will required. The amount is more than the state annual budget.
After signing the first file Mr Naidu will appoint a committee headed by C.S. Rao to fix the guidelines on the waiver of farm loans. According to sources, state might issue bonds to meet the amount of money.

Sharapova Bags One More Grand slam Title

Maria Sharapova won her second French Open title in three years at Roland Garros , defeating Romania's Simona Halep 6-4, 6-7 (5/7), 6-4 in a gripping final, the first to go the full distance in Paris in 13 years and the second longest on record.
It was the 27-year-old Russian's fifth Grand Slam title, bringing her level with Martina Hingis on the all-time list and it came 10 years after she won her first major at Wimbledon 2004. Sharapova, who completed a career sweep of all four Grand Slam titles in Paris in 2012 before losing to Serena Williams last year, also moved to number two on the all-time prize money earnings, with only the American ahead of her.
But it took all her legendary grit and resolve to recover from the loss of the second set on a tie-break after she had stood just two points away from the title at 5/3. "It's the toughest Grand Slam final I have ever played," said Sharapova.
"I can't believe that at 27 I have won the French Open more times than any other Grand Slam." The consolation for Halep, whose meteoric rise to the top bracket in women's tennis over the last 18 months has projected her as a potential champion, was that she will climb to a career-high third in the world rankings.
The two finalists reached the championship match in starkly contrasting styles. Fourth-seeded Halep did not drop a single set in her six matches, while seventh-seed Sharapova needed to battle back from first set losses in her three previous outings.
But experience was massively on the Russian's side. This was her ninth Grand Slam final dating back 10 years, while Halep was playing in her first at the age of 22.
