No Special Status To AndhraPradesh

This is a big shock to residual Andhrapradesh. According to planing commission present rules there is no chance to give special status to residual Andhrapradesh. planing commission submitted the reports to central minister Indrajith Singh Rao.

At the time of AP sate bifurcation UPA2 prime minister Manmohan Singh  announce in Rajya Sabha about the special status to residual AP for 5 years. On that statement NDA members objects 5 years are not sufficient, increase the time period to 10 years.

But, now NDA is in Central. now every one looks towards the central government, how the NDA government will forward on this special status. According Gadgil Mukarjy formula to have the special status that state are having much hills area, lower population density, more tribal population is must. based on this conditions planing commission recommended to central government to give special status to that states.

In this special status sates have more chances to get the much funds from central government. central government gives 90% funds as grant and 10% on loan. present Arunachalpradesh, Assam, Manipur, Sikkim, Megalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Thripura, Himachalpradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu&Kasmir states have this special status. Bhihar, Rajasthan, Oddissa, Jarkhand states are demands for this special status.
