Telangana C.M K Chandrasekhara Rao self imposed conditions on the loan waiver scheme as earned flak from farmer community of Telangana. Across several districts in telangana farmers are demanding the government waive of agriculture loan up to 1 lakh without any preconditions.
The announcement made by the TRS government according on the preconditions of farm loan has caused the heart break to a farmer Boyina Dathatri who hails from khasimpur village in Zaheerabad mandal at Medak Dist.
According to family sources Dathatri died of heart Attack while hearing the news on television. The 50 year old farmer was disappointed with TRS government decision to waive of crop loan year 2013-14 as against election promise of waiving of one lakh loan of farmers without any time frame. Dathatri took the loan from Andhra Grameena Bank in 2011. Two more suicides were registered in Ranga Reddy district upon knowing the decision.
Loan Waiver scheme is one off the major promise done by KCR, not only this promise was incorporated in the TRS manifesto, but same was repeatedly at all the public meetings the election campaign.
This Agriculture Loans Waiver promise was done by Chandrababu Naidu also, and he incorporate the scheme in TDP election manifesto in Andharapradesh.
