UPA 2 government had taken the declension on implementation possibility of One India-One Rate plan for mobile users. but this plan is not yet implemented. but private telecom operators are more active on this plan.
In India mobile operators has maintaining the different call rares for local, national and for ISD calls. Reliance company had taken the decision on this One India-One Rate plan Reliance offers same call rates for all calls through out India without roaming for their users.
Reliance launched two types of plans for postpaid users and one plan for pre-paid users. In Rs.350/- postpaid plan company offers 700 mins out going calls, 300 mins incoming national roaming, 1 GB data and 100 SMS's are free. In Rs.599/- plan company gives 1200 mins out going calls(roaming,STD,Local), 2 GB data, 100 SMS's are free in this plan. After completing the free minutes call charges per minute are 30 paise in Rs. 599/- plan and 45 paise in Rs.350/- plan.
For pre-paid users company gives free incoming calls at roaming, for out going call charges are 40 paise per minute. for this plan pre-paid users recharge with Rs.45/- pack.
